Playing with my new Brother coverstitch machine

My husband bought me an amazing new toy for Christmas and I have hardly even played with it yet.    Last night I finally managed to stay up and sew a small project.
The pattern used was a vintage Kwik Sew, and upon opening it discovered that the previous owner had meticulously traced the size I needed already.  Bonus!  The shirt fits well but I will change the sleeves up if I make it again, as my sons shoulders do not slope downwards at an odd angle!

My machine is the Brother 2340CV Pacestter, and it definitly takes a little practise to use.  I did find some great tips on this  website today that I will try out tonight.    I also discovered that I NEED a double fold binder attachment!
