I upcycled this shirt for my daughter using a maternity shirt I will NEVER need again. Hopefully. She won't wear it, just cries "I no like it" every time I have tried to put it on her. It's pretty big,so maybe she'll forget her hatred by next year?
I used the T shirt pattern from Sewing Clothes Kids Love. I love this book, drool over the amazing clothes but have really only used it to make basics.
The flowers are based on this tutorial from Make it and Love it.

This post made me smile! My daughter did the exact same thing! I would be so excited for her to wear something I made, then she would cry and refuse to wear it! now she is doing the opposite and trying to dictate everything I should make for her.
